Thraxis - Veil Drainer | Eternal Ascendance

 Thraxis

Thraxis is a nocturnal predator active only after full darkness settles.

Thraxis does not truly understand dark mana. Instead, it instinctively uses a narrow, specialized aspect of dark mana solely to drain and conceal.

Thraxis suppresses its presence completely.

Its aura becomes undetectable, allowing it to remain within close proximity to prey without being sensed.

It does not attack immediately.

It anchors itself near a target and begins draining mana gradually.

The process is controlled and subtle.

Victims do not react at first. As depletion continues, their strength declines, perception weakens, and response slows.

Only after resistance is no longer possible does Thraxis act physically.

It descends and feeds.

Thraxis does not rely on force or prolonged engagement.

Its method ensures the outcome before contact.

It inhabits forests, valleys, and low-light regions where visibility is inconsistent.

Areas affected by Thraxis often contain multiple remains with no visible injuries—only complete mana depletion.

Once activity increases in a region, it relocates.
