Morveth 

Morveth is an amphibious creature found in forests, wetlands, and swamps. It moves slowly across both land and water, relying on stability rather than speed.

It does not hunt.

Morveth feeds using life-aligned mana.

It transfers excess vitality into surrounding plant life, accelerating growth for a short period. After this, it consumes portions of the enhanced plant—typically leaves or outer growth—without destroying the source entirely.

In some cases, it repeats this process over time, returning to the same vegetation.

Its diet is primarily plant-based, though it may consume small insects incidentally while feeding.

Morveth possesses limited offensive capability.

Its survival depends on its shell.

The shell is dense, layered, and reinforced through mana, forming a structure capable of withstanding heavy impact. Most attacks do not penetrate it, though repeated force can cause gradual damage.

Morveth cannot escape quickly.

If exposed outside its shell, it is vulnerable.

Its behavior remains passive unless directly threatened. When danger is detected, it retracts and remains stationary until the disturbance passes.

The species is rare.

Slow movement, low reproduction rate, and environmental disruption have reduced its population. Most individuals are solitary.
