Krythavor - Herdbound Colossus | Eternal Ascendance
Krythavor
Krythavor is a massive herd-based creature originating from frozen regions, now found in displaced groups within forest territories due to Devourer-driven habitat collapse.
Its body is built for endurance and structural stability.
Dense fur retains heat, while layered ice forms over it, compressed and maintained through mana. This ice creates rigid plating across its body, with the highest concentration around the skull and horns.
Krythavor moves slowly.
Its movement remains stable under all conditions.
Each step reinforces the ground beneath it. Ice forms instantly, stabilizing terrain for itself while disrupting footing for others.
Krythavor operates in herds.
They maintain formation without communication. When threatened, they compress—closing space and limiting movement around them.
The herd functions as a single structure.
Its use of ice is functional and immediate.
It generates ice directly from the ground during combat, creating sharp formations beneath opponents. These eruptions are fast, dense, and placed with precision to disrupt positioning rather than chase.
Krythavor does not rely on repeated attacks.
It advances.
Its skull is its primary weapon.
Reinforced bone layered with compressed ice forms a single hardened structure. It is used to break through obstacles directly, not to strike and withdraw.
Once it begins moving forward, it does not stop for resistance.
Krythavor is not aggressive by default.
It does not hunt.
However, it does not avoid obstruction.
Anything within its path becomes resistance to be passed through.
Displacement has altered its impact on new environments.
Outside frozen regions, its presence destabilizes ecological balance gradually. Terrain shifts, movement patterns change, and other species are forced to adapt or withdraw.
Krythavor does not dominate through intent.
It alters through existence.
