Kethryx is a highly specialized predator that relies on speed, precision, and venom rather than raw strength. Found primarily in dense forests and shadowed woodland regions, it is rarely seen grounded for long. Movement defines its existence.

Its legs are its primary weapons—elongated, reinforced, and built for lethal impact. Each leap is calculated, not wasted. mana is continuously woven into its movements, creating air beneath and around its body to propel it forward with explosive force. What appears to be a jump is often a controlled launch, covering distances far beyond what its size should allow.

Venom is delivered through slashing strikes rather than bites. Even shallow wounds can become fatal, as the poison spreads rapidly once introduced into the bloodstream. Kethryx does not pursue wounded prey recklessly; instead, it withdraws, allowing venom and fear to finish the hunt.

Wind creation enhances more than just speed. It alters trajectories mid-leap, allowing Kethryx to strike from unexpected angles or retreat instantly if resistance proves greater than anticipated. Combined with its natural agility, this makes predicting its movement nearly impossible.

Kethryx does not dominate its territory openly. It survives by remaining unseen, unheard, and misjudged. By the time its presence is confirmed, the attack has already begun.
